SPRING 2025 we would dearly like to add to our repertoire, and are particularly looking for cornet, horn, trombone and percussion. Rehearsal are Tuesdays 7:45 pm - 9:30pm at the Portishead Methodist Church.


We always welcome new players so if you are looking for a new challenge, come and give us a go. It’s not the traditional brass band set up, more of an ensemble, but lots of fun, with no pressure, lots of humour and mistakes are allowed. We play and welcome a wide variety of musical genres.

Portishead Town Band is also operating as Black Nore Brass. We can offer a traditional brass band feel, or a under the Black Nore banner a much more contemporary brass repertoire for weddings, celebrations and parties.
